Recovery Coaching
“Coaching is not just about how to do something. It’s about how to be someone.”

What is recovery coaching?
Recovery coaching provides formal and professional coaching from someone who’s been there. We collaborate with you to identify barriers to your personal goals, support you with reoccurence prevention, and help you realize your potential. With equal parts compassion and accountability, we offer mentorship, guidance, and unparalleled support—because none of us can walk this path alone.
What is a recovery coach?
A recovery coach is somewhere between an AA sponsor and an addictions counsellor—we’ve got the formal training in addictions recovery and the lived experience of walking our own path to sobriety. We’re a bit of a guide, a deep and active listener, an encouraging confidant, and someone who will help you move towards your unique goals.
What is your approach?
As a recovery coach, I don’t hold the map or dictate the course. We build that together. In my coaching practice, I work with you to identify your unique strengths and deep needs, helping close the gap between where you are and where you want to go. In this, I help you recover who you really are.
Drawing on psychological insights in mind-body connection, I value helping you live a holistic, more integrated life. Working with insights in recovery research, I help you explore the complex roots of alcohol use disorder—but I’m not a therapist. My main role here is to listen with informed context and help you move forward.
At the heart of what I do, I aim to remove the shame and stigma of an alcohol use disorder. There’s nothing you can say that will stop me believing in your potential, and stop me working with you to help you get there.
